Dieter Dimmel, born 1937, in Steinhöring/Oberbayern

staatl. gepr. Dolmetscher for English, subject economy.

After having studied English, French and Spanish at a School of Languages in Nuremberg he could further improve and practice his knowledge of these languages during his work of many years as an Export Manager in a world-wide operating company. Many business trips were made first to Spanish-speaking countries and later also to English- and French speaking markets.

Dieter Dimmel has been working at our Evening School since 1981, first as a teacher for Spanish and since 1996 for English as well.

From the very beginning he participated in numerous workshops of Bayerischer Volkshochschulverband gathering a lot of experience for language teaching of adults.

His main objective: transmit to the participants, with much fun and in a very nice and comfortable atmosphere, the most important skills, especially <speaking>.
